Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas is taking a short break from work to give his body the proper rest and recharge it needs.
In a Facebook post on Monday afternoon, Oct. 2, Treñas said he was advised by his doctor to “rest in the hospital due to overfatigue.”
“The past few weeks have been quite hectic including my travel to the UNIDO at Vienna. I will be resting for a few days right now.”
In a press release, the mayor “assured that the department heads, heads of offices and employees” will continue to deliver quality services to the public while he is on a brief hiatus.IMT
