The trust rating of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. declined slightly in a June 2024 report released by polling firm Pulse Asia.
The survey showed that Marcos Jr. obtained a trust rating of 52 percent, five percentage points lower than his 57 percent rating in March.
Twenty-one percent of the 2,400 adult respondents had little or no trust in Marcos Jr., and 27 percent were undecided.
His performance rating also slipped to 53 percent from 55 percent. Nineteen percent of those surveyed were dissatisfied with his work, while 29 percent remained undecided.
Around the time of the June 17-24 survey, Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio resigned as Education Secretary and co-vice-charieprson of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict.
Other key developments included the election of Senator Francis Escudero as the 25th Senate president and the suspension of Bamban Mayor Alice Guo for up to 60 days by the Office of the Ombudsman.IMT
