Incumbent Congressman Raul “Boboy” Tupas is the top choice for vice governor of the province of Iloilo.

Based on the November 2024 Opinion Survey released by Random Access Consultants, Inc. (RACI), Tupas was way ahead of his closest rival, Anilao Mayor Lee Ann Debuque.

Eight out of 10 or 76.9 percent of respondents picked Tupas, who is running under Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD).

Debuque, on the other hand, got a voter preference rating of 19.8 percent (two out of 10), followed by Mark John Velasco with 2.8 percent.

According to the survey, Tupas secured the highest votes in all genders, in all age groups, in all educational levels, and in all socio-economic classes.

The survey, commissioned by a business group, was conducted from November 25 to December 2 this year in 120 barangays.

It involved 1,200 respondents (at least 18 years old and registered voters) who were interviewed face-to-face.

RACI said the poll had a ± 3 percent margin of error at the 95 percent confidence level.IMT
