Congressman Raul “Boboy” Tupas has encouraged mayors in the province of Iloilo to implement business-friendly policies to attract investors to their towns.
In a radio interview, Tupas emphasized the importance of creating a business-friendly environment for economic growth.
“Trabaho sang aton mga political leader ang magcreate sang environment nga ginawelcome ang sari-sari nga investments sa ila lugar,” he said
“Kon nami kag damu ang nagasulod nga investments, happy kag kontento ang mga pumuluyo,” the Fifth District representative added.
More investments, according to Tupas, mean more jobs that provide income and means of livelihood for residents.
“Let me underscore the fact nga diri sa [Fifth District], pasalamat gid kami nga may mga mall na nga nagsulod. Sa Balasan, sa Estancia kag sa Sara ara ang Gaisano. Kag diri sa Barotac Viejo ara ang Puregold kag SM Savemore Market,” he said.IMT
