Iloilo Fifth District Representative Raul “Boboy” Tupas wished that every Ilonggo would experience a joyful Christmas this year.
“Kapay pa, sa aton pagpangamuyo, nga makaangkon ang tanan nga pumuluyo sang manami nga paskwa subong nga tuig,” Tupas said in a radio interview.
The lawmaker stressed that the Christmas season is a time for fostering understanding and unity amidst our differences.
Tupas also expressed hope that Ilonggo voters will choose honest and accountable leaders in the 2025 midterm elections.
“Tani makapili kita sang husto nga leaders nga magserbisyo para magpadayon ang pag-asenso sang probinsya sang Iloilo,” he said.
Tupas is running for vice governor in next year’s polls under Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), the country’s dominant political party.IMT
