USWAG Ilonggo is among the most preferred party-list groups in the May 2025 midterm polls, a recent OCTA Research survey showed.

Of the 156 party-list groups for next year’s elections, USWAG Ilonggo secured the fifth spot in the survey with a 4.57% voter preference.

With the figure, the Iloilo-based party-list is poised to gain three seats for its nominees in the House of Representatives.

USWAG Ilonggo currently occupies one seat in Congress. Represented by Jojo Ang, the party-list primarily aims to “provide stronger means for the welfare of Ilonggos and capability for development and inclusive progress in Region 6.” 

The top spot was occupied by ACT-CIS with 13.28%, followed by Tingog (6.6%), Ako Bicol (5.34%), and Senior Citizens (4.69%).

4Ps came in sixth with 3.43%, followed by TUPAD (2.34%) and Akbayan (2.23%).

The non-commissioned survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adult Filipinos from November 10 to 16, 2024. It has a ±3% margin of error at a 95% confidence level.

In a separate survey, USWAG Ilonggo also emerged as one of the top choices.
