Police Regional Office (PRO-6) has warned its personnel against making content on TikTok, YouTube and other social media platforms while on duty and still wearing the police uniform.
Police Brigadier General Sidney Villaflor, acting regional director of PRO-6, said erring police personnel will be subjected to investigation.
“Dapat pagkanaka-uniform means nakaduty, walang TikTok dapat. Walang magiging vlogger dahil they will be consuming the government time,” he said during his to the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO).
“Hindi dapat inuubos ang government time sa mga gawain na hindi connected sa trabaho,” the region’s top cop added.
In 2020, the Philippine National Police (PNP) issued an order prohibiting police personnel from making and uploading TikTok videos during work hours.IMT
