Still fresh from their victory in Palarong Pambansa, Ilonggo jins showed impressive performances in this year’s Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) National Games, collecting 12 gold medals in Legazpi City, Albay.
Representing Western Visayas, the team snatched the gold medals through dominant performances of Hannah Dello (finweight), Diana Dello (flyweight), Mary Noelle Alim (bantamweight), Sheine Nicole De Asis (lightweight), Sophia Grace Go (light middleweight) and Carina Adrea Duran (middleweight) in secondary girls division.
Cy Espinoza (finweight), Enzo Cape (flyweight), Kyle Chin (featherweight), Justine Diasnes (lightweight) and Sam Vargas (heavyweight) also captured a gold in the secondary boys’ division, while Jan Kenneth Rafols (flyweight) ruled in the tertiary men’s division.
This year’s National PRISAA was hosted by Legazpi City. The week-long event showcased top student-athletes who clashed against each other in various sports and talent competitions.IMT Sports
