An alumna of West Visayas State University (WVSU) in Iloilo City was among the examinees who garnered the highest ratings in the April 2024 Physicians Licensure Examination (PLE).
Based on the results of the exam, Mary Angelie Cardente Cabañez ranked ninth with a rating of 87.00 percent.
Cabañez, who also topped the 2017 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE), graduated from the WVSU College of Medicine in 2022.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the PLE results on Thursday, April 18.
A total of 1,906 out of 3,434 passed the exam conducted in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.IMT
