An alumnus of West Visayas State University (WVSU) in La Paz, Iloilo City was one of examinees who topped the March 2023 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE).
Carl Angelo Memoria Hofileña, a native of Bacolod City, ranked ninth with a score of 86.84 percent.
Meanwhile, WVSU earned a passing rate of 75 percent after 27 of its 36 graduates made the cut.
The results were released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday night, March 16.
A total of 1,573 out of 2,887 passed the Physicians Licensure passed the board exam given in 13 areas including Iloilo.IMT
