Zubiri, Angara commit to help bring more projects in Iloilo

Senators Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri and Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara have committed to help bring more projects in Iloilo.

“Kaupod ninyo ako sa maga-abot pa nga mga tinuig, magbuligay kita tanan para sa ika-uswag sang Pilipinas, with Iloilo City taking a vital role in the development of the Visayas region,” Zubiri said during the inauguration of elected officials in Iloilo City.

He thanked City Mayor Jerry Treñas and the people of Iloilo City for their support in the May 9 national elections.

“Even though [we supported different presidential bets], nagdaug ko di No. 4 sa imo and I will never forget that. Amo na nga nga tanan nimo ngarequest for Iloilo City ako ang bahala didto sa Senado,” he assured.

Angara also vowed to provide needed support for projects and programs that aim to improve the health and education sectors in the province.

He administered the oath of reelected Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. and other provincial officials.IMT
